You're in the right place. We offer solutions and community discussion of those and many other environmental and social problems in today's fast-paced and often noisy world. We’ve been offering Permaculture professionals support in our bioregion since 2015.
Our bioregion includes the six states that span many of North America's great rivers and Great Lakes: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
If you are a member of this bioregion, we can offer guidance, community, and resources on native species, forestry practices, urban agriculture, and so much more. We are a diverse group with many skill sets
Your Skillset is Needed for Greater Biodiversity!
It is difficult to improve your quality of life alone, and so much easier with a village. We think of ourselves as an ecovillage, where each individual is needed for the health of the whole. We don't have all the skills needed for climate change adaptation. The knowledge you bring is essential for truly sustainable living.
Growing a World Where Nature and Community Thrive
Our definition of nature includes the earth, the water in the seas, rivers, and lakes, the microorganisms in the soil, the trees in your orchard, the birds in the sky, and every living thing - including you in the earth community.
Permaculture is a way of looking at the world as a complex system. All the pieces, like a puzzle, are necessary and crucial for the continual well-being of all life on earth. This is a philosophy and way of living that we hope you embrace. Our permaculture association is focused on connecting, educating, and growing the concept of sustainable living for all.
Plant a seed and watch it grow into a mighty oak tree, elderberry bush, or grape vine. Join us on this journey of skill development. Both hard skills and soft skills are needed as resources for the future.
Sharing knowledge, skills, and resources
In our rapidly evolving world, the need for collaborative engagement and knowledge sharing has never been more crucial. We position ourselves as a vibrant hub where individuals can come together to exchange information, skills, and resources.
The foundational purpose of our permaculture association is to foster a sense of community and create collective growth, allowing each voice to contribute its unique experience and insights. By fostering connections among professionals. learners, and practitioners, we create an environment where everyone can benefit from the wealth of knowledge that exists within our collective. Whether it's through workshops, discussion forums, or collaborative projects, we strive to break down barriers and encourage open dialogue that enriches everyone's understanding and encourages problem-solving.
Our platform is designed to empower individuals to not only share their expertise but also to acquire new skills that enhance personal and professional development. By pooling resources and talents, we enable members to tackle challenges more effectively, engage in critical thinking, and innovate in their respective fields. This synergistic approach not only helps individuals grow but also enhances the overall capabilities of our community. By leveraging the strengths of our members, we cultivate a culture of continuous learning and support, where everyone can thrive. It's a matter of teamwork!
Join us in this dynamic journey of knowledge exchange—together, we can unlock new opportunities and drive meaningful change.
We gather resources for our members and create relationships between like-minded people and organizations. We empower each other to learn, grow, and become more self-reliant.
Let’s join together in our permaculture journey!
